Installing, Updating, or Reinstalling eRemote Software
To install, update, or reinstall our eRemote software, follow these steps:
1. Open a Web Browser
Launch a web browser, such as Google Chrome, Safari, or Firefox, and go to eremote.us. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome. If you encounter any issues while accessing the website in another browser, try opening it in Google Chrome instead.
2. Access the Installer
Click the icon located in the top-right corner of the webpage, as shown in the screenshot below.
3. Build the Installer
After clicking the icon, select “Build Installer.” A new window will appear.
4. Configure Installer Settings
In the “Build Installer” window:
• The Name field can remain as the default option, “Use Machine Name.”
• In the Type field, select the correct file format based on your operating system:
• Windows users: Choose the .exe file type (default option).
• Mac users: Choose the .pkg file type.
• Click Download to begin downloading the installer.
5. Install the Software
After the file has finished downloading, open it and run the program. If any security or confirmation warnings appear, click Accept or Continue to proceed with the installation.
